Rigid / Compact Bag Filters are available in the higher grades ePM2.5 / ePM1 to ISO16890 (F6, F7, F8 and F9 to the previous EN779).

Rigid Bag Filters do not suffer with under-inflation issues that can affect typical glass or synthetic high performance bag filters in low, or variable airflow scenario. They also offer a high airflow capacity at a low volume making them a good selection for energy efficiencies.

In this photo (below), three Rigid Bag Filters are positioned in a housing offering PM1 Particulate Filtration before Activated Carbon Gas filters.

Rigid Bag Filters - Location Example

In this scenario the air face velocity can be as low as 0.5m/s (extended contact times with the carbon), which does not always inflate a heavy media pocket leading to high resistance, and/or turbulent airflows.

By using Rigid Bag Filters, we know that the system will achieve a clear air passage at a known and consistent pressure differential.
