The way in which ISO 16890 classifies filters, there is no direct comparison between the old EN 779 classification, as some of the old classes overlap with the new classes.
To facilitate an indicative comparison, particularly for the purpose of replacing existing filters, the Eurovent Association has developed a table matching both EN 779 and EN ISO 16890 classes for the same filters.
